This has been an explosive week for Assateague Island National Seashore.  Earlier this week World War II debris, fragments, and unexploded ordnance were uncovered on the beach at Assateague. An Emergency Ordnance Disposal team came out to the island from Aberdeen, MD.  The Park is asking that all visitors keep an eye out and report any rusted metal objects of any shape.

Take a look at this news coverage and the official warning from the Park.
